I accidentally left water in the glass container and it got a bit moldy. There is no way to really clean that glass container that holds the water easily BUT you can screw the entire top off. I‘m pretty sure you‘re not supposed to take it apart so if you want to do it, do it at your own risk :)First, you remove the tiny screws off the top white part first then gently pull it off. Then under that you‘ll find a black plate which sits on top of the glass container. You unscrew that off and gently lift it up. Be careful because there are tubes and two mental prongs attached to it so just lay it gently over so nothing gets detached or breaks. Then you can get in there and clean it. I used some water, white vinegar and a tiny bit of dawn to wipe it down with a paper towel. I rinsed it thoroughly and then gently put it all back together. Worked great after putting it back together. I don‘t mind doing this after many uses to keep that glass container clean.The next time I take it apart I will update this review with photos but it‘s not that hard to figure it out! If I can do it, anyone can.

Updated Feb 11, 2019:A day after I posted my review informing what happened (comments below) I received an email apologizing for it and asking if I would accept another device free of charge as a compensation. With my acceptance, in 3 days I received other steamer and this one was perfectly functioning and it is really good. The attention didnt stop there as they called me to make sure I was satisfied with the second device sent and also letting me know they were available for anything I‘d need.I can say that problems can happen with anyone but the way you choose to address it makes all the difference. I would definitely recommend this seller and product.*****************Just received mine, poured in distilled water as recommended, plugged in 3 different power outlets, but it won‘t work! I hear the beep but right after plugging in, the lights stay blinking and the buttons do not respond, the water doesn‘t heat up, nothing is working! It is really frustrating!

So I got this steamer in October used one time , by the second time hot water was splash everywhere . Xxx I received an email from the seller apologizing and wanting to fix the problem the unit had. It’s been months after I purchased the face steamer , I was 100%sure I wasted money and I could not expect anything since I was outside the 30 days return . The seller sent me a new face steamer within a week that works absolutely flawless , I also used the aromatherapy oil , the search is over, this is 5 star facial at home that provide steam and ozone while also being able to use in conjunction with your favorite oils. I bought this steamer to offer facial steam services at the barbershop where i work. It warms up pretty quick and the output of steam is phenomenal. The only thing i didnt like was that the spot where you are supposed to add a piece of felt with aroma is not well placed therefore the scent does not come out through the nozzle properly. Other than that. Its a great steamer.
I saw a YouTuber use this as a hair steamer while she did her natural hair. And it made perfect sense, I bought it immediately. I was skeptical if I would really use it but I can honestly say I’ve gotten my money’s worth and I’ve only had it nearly 2 months. I love this steamer! I like to turn it on while I apply products, conditioners, etc. to my hair. It’s changed my hair health honestly. And the added benefit of a facial steam, my skin is so clear and blemish free. It’s a spa in my bathroom and it’s so satisfying.I use purified water, it says specifically not to use water from the faucet. The nozzle has a nice range, you can really adjust this however you need to. Once I fill it a little below the max line, and it lasts about 35-45 min. Just the right amount of time for my use.Very happy with this.
I purchased this for when I do facials and other services /Mobile cosmetology and Aesthetics. It‘s difficult to carry my heavy full size steamer on the road. I was very hesitant to believe a steamer could be as good as all the reviews were saying because it is just a small portable steamer but, i took a chance and i am really happy i did .. SO FAR i LOVE it .. i have only had it a few weeks but it has worked great for me and so easy to travel with .. super simple to use and works as well as my large steamer .. i was very surprised at the quality of it !! Hopefully it lasts a long time .. i never know how long these kind of things will last and keep working .. i will do a follow up if anything changes : )

both my little rescue dog and I have had serious upper respiratory issues. My little dog was found emaciated, and had a number of serious infections, including an upper respiratory infection which have scarred her lungs. I purchased this steamer as an experiment to see if it would help us with our lung conditions. It is amazing!! She has gone off of the steroids for her lung condition, and it has really helped me come back to health after a sustaining a serious lung injury, due to a wildfire. It is wonderful, so it helped our breathing and if you apply lotion after the treatment to your face, (I put coconut. oil on her nose), its very nourishing to the skin as well! LOVE IT!
I finally used it! It works great and not having any replacement felts for aromatherapy scents is one drawback. I did contact the seller concerning the appliance not “TURNING OFF“ as per the user guide. Basically once the appliance stop producing steam. The seller does offer a free one-year warranty in case the appliance becomes faulty. However the lights will continue to blink after the steamer shuts down. You basically have to unplug it to turn it off completely.Seller Response for Appliance Turn Off...Firstly, the red light flashes when the water rank lower cuz this product has a self-production system in case some dangerous situation happens. It shut down by itself when the water level is lower than the warning line. You just fill in the tap water inside, the steamer will restart, and also make sure Ozone is selected at the same time. It works great! It takes about 5-10 min to heat up the water, same as if a kettle was boiling. Doesn’t leak, but moisture seems to collect in the arm in a weird yellowish color even though I use distilled water. Does what it’s supposed to, and doesn’t spit out hot water like other users mentioned, fortunately. I would recommend for the price.
I disliked that the steamer was apparently used. There was a broken clip on the unit and water droplets in the tank. I like the steam but felt deceived by the company.

After a couple treatments, two closer together at first, I could see new hair growth, especially at the hairline where my hair really curls...the loss of my business in lockdowns and inflation mean, I would not afford to pay the $65.00 treatments, $100 in some locations (and tip)... and, they changed the products they were using, my last two treatments resulted in an itching scalp, they took my request to return to the earlier product as an insult... the camera wasn‘t working, the new gal pulled my hair, sigh...just easier and so much cheaper to do it at homeI wish I knew what the product they had been using was, I would try to purchase some of that...I may try a facial cleaner...bottom line, it works... one treatment cost more than this machine so, even with the design flaws, I would say... I used this steamer once a month for 3 years and I loved it! The steam power was great, and using it was so easy. I gave it 3 stars because after 3 years I never figured out how to remove the water container to clean it, and since reading other reviews, have realized that it just won’t come off. I considered taking the steamer all the way apart to clean it and put it back together, but that’s not worth it. I have just been running through all of the water in it after every use to keep it from getting yucky, until last month. I accidentally left water in it and the water turned yellow pretty quickly. Since I can’t clean it, I won’t use it again. I’ll need to get a new steamer that I can clean after each use to prevent having this problem again.
Cute little steamer will get the job done! Manipulating the arm and getting the right angle for facials is the hard part! Definitely needs to be placed on top of a rolling cart & no way of pouring out the distilled water without flipping the whole steamer upside down.....
Was getting use to breathing with hot steam going up my nose why a drop of scolding hot water fell on my cheek. Awaiting to see if I’m scarred. Just be sure to Move to the side and keep face and body parts completely away from the nozzle. Would never use as the woman in the picture is using this unit.
When you use this in a room with an open door or window, the steam is so weak that it moves away from the intended target. In other words, the steam is weak and cannot handle opposing air flow. It‘s usable if there is no other air flow in the room.
First use: with the arm extended or not, this machine spits water hot and kind of far. It seems to be because the steam accumulates into droplets in the pipe arm and instead of running back down into the machine, the dropplets are just small enough to pool around the steam exit and are spit out of the nozzle. I shake the arm a little & tap on it to get the water to pool together enough to run back down the arm into the pot. Also, I put tea tree oil in the “diffuser“ portion and the plastic cover that keeps the tiny oil pad in place cracked. Shattered, really. But it‘s still in working condition and does not effect use, as I see so far, so no worries. I simply was not expecting this. In the future, I will likely just put my oil directly into the water pot. Another thing, the steam is not nearly as strong as I‘d hoped. I really have to be about 5-10inches from the steam port for it to effect me. I don‘t like that the water pot is not detachable. To clean, you must simply pour water and vinegar into the machine, turn it on, and then drain. I suppose that‘s all that‘s truly necessary. Still, I would like full access to the machine‘s parts. The run time is short as well since the water pot holds little water.
So, let me start off by saying if this product didn’t break it would have gotten five stars! I’ve had this steamer replaced TWICE since receiving it the first time July 20. The extendable arm broke. Contacted the vendor directly and their customer service was AMAZING! They shipped another steamer to me and I received it August 4. New steamer was great but the extendable arm fell off mid steam. It fell and burned my forehead (LOL) but I’m more upset that it broke! I had high hopes for this product because it was everything I was looking for so I’m disappointed to say the least..
The few times this worked was great. Worked as well as one at spa. Unfortunately after third time it stopped heating up. I only used distilled water and drained it after use. Unplugged try to reset. No luck.
Purchased through a friends account. Easy to assemble and to use. But the material is not heat resistant. Started with oil pad failure then the water input point cracked barely 4 uses. Now the steam extension and water tank all cracked. 2 star because of simplicityLost the money on this when I should have bought a cheap quality product to last longer. I though this was of higher quality given the price. Disappointed
Not worth your time and energy spent on returns and contacting the company.. This company is wonderful to work with as they have excellent customer service, however, I purchased 2 of the same facial steamer writhing weeks of each other and they both broke and stopped working within a week of using both facial streamers. My first one broke within 2 days of receiving it so I reached out to the company and they sent me a replacement immediately ( I sent the defective product back) however, the 2nd facial streamer broke and stopped working within 5 days of receiving it. I contacted the company again and they issued a refund as soon as they received both defective streamers (which I was impressed with and shows excellent customer service) I wanted to love both my mini streamers as they were tiny and worked great (the few days that they did work) I do not have room in my facial room for a large facial steamer so that’s why I purchased these. Please do not waste your time or money purchasing these facial streamers!! They will sadly break days after you use them. Super disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!
Save your money! Do not buy this product. I haven’t even had it for a year and it’s already rusted in the inside. It could be a very good product if they would make changes to where you can open the container to clean it out. There is no way to clean it properly therefore you have standing water that stays in the reservoir and eventually will cause rust as seen in the pictures attached. I have searched for videos on how to open it to be able to clean it and didn’t find anything. I’m very disappointed as I was super excited to purchase this and loved it until I found this major flaw. Now I can’t use it as the water is yellow from all the rust. It looks worst in person.
Honestly I don’t know what to say about this product. I purchased it, put distilled water in it, plugged it in and it did exactly what a previous purchasers did... beeped a few times, buttons flashed red but never worked. I exchanged it for another one and that did the exact same thing! So frustrating!!! I’ve Only used distilled water in it and walked it around to every outlet in the house but won’t work. Returning this one as well and will look for something better.
Second time use spat out boiling water onto my husband luckily he rolled over in time just to get scolded on the skin of left shoulder on the face i don‘t wanna imagine. Im so shell shocked that a machine can malfunction in such a way that can cause irreversible bodily injury to someone. Again you get what you paid for. I tested the product again and when the water started boiling it spew out of the nozzle that was suppose to have steam not boiling water! Be warned Im immediately throwing this away. This little steamer is great! It works perfectly, I like the extendable arm, and if you put the ozone and steam function on at the same time, the steam gets just as thick as it does in the spa!UPDATE: so after using this steamer for about 2 weeks, I noticed that one of the metal poles inside of it starting rusting! I pour out all extra water after using the steamer but there’s no way to open and dry the inside of it, which is a serious design flaw. I’m so happy I noticed- there was so much rust and it made the water brownish with flecks of rust . Definitely a serious problem, which sucks because I did like this steamer but this is unsafe.
I am an aesthetician and was using that, clients at first everything was going to do it after having it for about three months it started leaking steaming hot water out and it actually got all me and Bert me thank God it didn’t happen to a client: My client had to jump off the massage table during her treatment because the boiling hot water started squirting out of the nozzle in the middle of her steam! Maybe I just got a bad machine but would never buy again.
Disappointed in this product and not worth the money. The inside rusted within the first week (and I’ve only ever used distilled water) and I noticed mold growing in the bottom this morning.It doesn’t come apart so I’m unable to clean it. Initially, I was in love with my steamer. After a couple of weeks of having it, I heated up the water, but instead of it coming out as steam, it spewed out like a faucet. My arm was burned from the hot water, and the water caused damage to my work files which were on the table with the steamer. Unfortunately, I’ll have to return this item. Fortunately, my face wasn’t near the machine when the water came out.
